Grade 8 Race Team

Following a vastly reduced program in 2011, BrennGP has reformed as Grade 8 Race Team.

The team last ran as Mugen Motorsport in the 2010 TORA Touring Car Championship, during which it ran a trio of Honda Civic Si Coupes, maintaining a long-standing relationship with the manufacturer, having run at least one Civic in the series since the first season in 2008. When team-owner Scot 'ckBrenneke' Reid moved to GRP Motorsport's Kia Forte Koup for the 2011 season, BrennGP sold off its Civics and closed it's doors.

Mugen Motorsport returns for the 2010 TORA Touring Car Championship with a three car team, once again fielding AJzero, jenson09 and team owner ckBrenneke, and once again running the Honda Civic Si for the third year running.

BrennGP have taken a very late step into the Formula Le Mans series, running a Audi R8 LMS in the GTC class for team owner ckBrenneke.



The last minute deal was put together with the help of main sponsor, Preci-Spark, who are the leading manufacturer of components for the jet aircraft, gas turbine and other advanced- technology industries. Honda, BrennGP and Mugen are planning a one-off Mugen Cup following the release of the Mugen Civic Type-R 3D.

This event will be held on a to-be-determined TORA Community Game Night, details of which will be revealed soon. The event will be open to all, with participants in a Mugen-tuned Honda, again technical details of which are to be released soon.

The Cup will consist of randomly mixed lobbies competing over three events, with the winner receiving the Mugen Cup and 1,500,000 in Forza credits.

With Mugen Motorsport due to return this summer for the 2010 TORA Touring Cars, the team behind the entry, BrennGP, have today taken possession of the new Mugen Civic Type R. While the car is not elegible for any TORA-sanctioned championships, the team were given the limited edition car as a thank you from Honda.

BrennGP will be running an ex-Prodrive Subaru Impreza as part of a works-sponsored entry into this year's TORA Rally Championship. The Impreza was purchased outright by ckBrenneke's team with the intent of running him in as many of the TRC events as are permitted by his busy working schedule. This news follows the last report from the team, which saw their Historic Rally entry canned.

BrennGP driver and owner ckBrenneke has today announced that his team will enter the TORA Historic Rally Championship in the new year. With a BrennGP prepared Fiat 131 Abarth, he intends to challenge each round where funds and time permit.
