Content of this vid is a bit meh BUT skip to 6.40 and note the options in the Pit Strategy that pop up. Third option is 'Swap Driver'! That could make some races here very interesting Smile

They added that a while ago in the PC version. But hopefully it makes it way to console.

But I hope that video was an older build cuz nothing about it looked impressive. Especially the way the car moved with ground, like it wasn't fluid and just looked blocky. Not to mention when he went off track lol

Not gonna start on the pit crew haha

But again let us hope Smile

Tbh, compared to a lot of recent vids that's rough. It may also be low settings. Some of the top end vids I'm finding lately blow you away. Especially how the environment looks from within a car. The lighting, everything works very well indeed.

The difference in this game on Ultra and Low is like chalk and cheese so take that in mind.

Yeah I've seen the same videos over and over on PC. But nothing new has been apparent since the original released date.

Looking forward to some updated footage from console playing.

The driver swap currently replaces the driver with an AI driver, similar to how it worked in endurance races for Gran Turismo 4

Here's SMS' full post about the new trailer, where they cover some details about the game as well, including:

"Competitive online with features such as 'join in progress' and invite-only sessions"
"Race weekends including warmup sessions, practices, qualifying, and two-race format"
"Save and share your proudest moments with photos and replays"

Of course we won't know exactly how these features will work on console until it finally releases. There may still be some limitations like how much of a replay is saved, but it gives us an idea of where they're going Smile

So, here it is what we've been waiting for - Project CARS running on console (PS4 in this video, but Xbox One is feature identical). Great to see it's basically identical to the PC version many of us have been testing in alpha/beta since 2012!

- Can select 4 weather slots for a race
- Fully customisable HUD
- Individual sector times displayed on race results
- 32 cars shown in single player mode (expect 16 for multiplayer due to bandwidth limitations)
- Runs at 1080p 60fps on PS4 (Xbox One will be 60fps and the devs are hoping for 1080p but maybe lower (900p?) if they can't sustain 60fps on Xbox One hardware).
