It has brought to the attention of Staff that multiple drivers have violated the qualifying procedure rules, specifically code 7.4.1 and 7.4.2, where drivers MUST pit on either lap 3 or 4 of their session. This matter is being investigated and all drivers who have broken this rule will have their qualifying times excluded.

EDIT December 4th: Any driver who has his/her qualifying times excluded may provide evidence of his/her best qualifying time prior to completing lap 4.

Note: This post will be updated with specific drivers/teams once the investigation is complete. This post also serves as a reminder that all drivers must follow the rules given, especially considering the qualifying procedure is explicitly stated in the Rules and Regulations thread AND is explained explicitly prior to each qualifying session beginning.

Driver GRT LetsFly did not pit on either lap 3 or 4 of his qualifying session. His qualifying time of 9:12.791 was set on lap 4 and thus has been deleted. His second best qualifying time of 9:14.682 was set on lap 3 and thus will serve as his (new) qualifying time.

Description by Zenith5280: GPR Unexit seemed to have been involved in a crash at a high speed right hander and reversed into Zenith’s path

Stewards Decision: 10,000 foot penalty applied to the #88 GPR 3 SP-X team for rejoining the racing surface dangerously, resulting in a collision and terminal damage to the #12 Team Ultra SP-X Honda. In a moment like this, staying completely off the racing line and/or stationary is the best course of action. Reversing back to the inside line is not.

Stewards Decision: Warning - Pit exit cuts over the white line aren't being penalized for a few reasons. 1, it was not explicitly stated in the Driver's Briefing what the "rule" was to be, as the line does extend all the way down almost into the first turn but it's a very wide part of the track. 2, it's next to impossible to clip every single person who went over the line. 3, if the pit exit rules *were* highlighted in the Driver's Briefing, everyone would've known what to look for.

This is an offense worthy of a penalty, don't be confused to think it isn't. In 2020 each driver's briefing will have special notes per track, denoting pit exit procedure if it is not abundantly clear. Also, a standardized offense will be published in the Sporting Regulations.

Stewards Decision: 20,000 foot penalty applied to #620 GPR 2 Huracan for disregarding the end of race rules and driving well past the field after repeated messages to stop the car. The stint distance was calculated based off of relative position. If you do not have a clear understanding how to start or end your stint, you should stay in the pits until you do.

Description by NothelleN340 : Start of the stint, all drivers reminded and made clear of the 80mph/129km/h start pace at the bridge/gantry and to only accelerate once under it. Some were already doing 90mph before they got to it. Even translated into German for the German racers in the lobby by a party member.

Stewards Decision: Warning to everyone. The 80 MPH start speed was too fast, considering the size of the grid, so people are getting a pass. Everyone would accelerate hard out of the chicane and have to check up just before the line, which almost never worked in any lobby all race. Events in the future will be seeing a 60 MPH start speed with a special exception given to the opening stint at Daytona, which will be 80 due to the run up to the start/finish being on the superspeedway.

Description by RZM Ballistik: MRT Fie doesn't brake for the corner named Schwedenkreuz in his higher class GT car, he just drives into my rear at full speed and pushes me into the barriers

Description by Jan Filip S: I was pushed off track twice by SRD Shredder. It wasn’t malicious move, more of mistake in high speed corner however I lost couple positions ending last.

Stewards Decision: Racing Incident, though Shredder did make contact on entry to Schwedenkreuz, the ensuing off-track by Jan Filip was not Shredder's fault. As a result, no penalty is given, short of a general warning to be mindful of drivers off the racing line and their varying speeds.

What is shown on screen is lag... It's a rare occurrence but watching the car move along the wall without hindrance indicates it was not the driver booping along, rather some weird space aliens using telekinesis to move the car. Or magnets.

Description by NothelleN340 : Going off the GP section I left space for Tazer after he tried showing a nose into the left hander, as the road switched back to the right Tazer moved in behind me and as he did so contact was made and the cars locked together. As a result my car was pitched to the left into the barrier and a loss of 3 places resulted and significant ground in the race. Whilst I don’t feel this was deliberate at all on behalf of Tazer, it did prove costly with regards time and distance to get back by those cars lost ground to. Had he braked rather then just a mild lift off upon contact it may have avoided the resulting spin for myself but that is just conjecture.

Stewards Decision: Racing Incident - Nothelle moved lanes mid turn and Forza physics did the rest, fault cannot be given majority to either driver.

Description by Crymcn: Car stopped on exit of dangerous corner for many minutes, upwards of 20

Stewards Decision: No Action - Miiraki's car was heavily damaged and was unable to move his car further off the racing surface. Granted, it did present a danger to other drivers but his car was not left there by choice.
