the acura-porsche battle is going to be immense i think...a number of people still have to qualify... nicky and the other mazda drivers will be able to race with them too. since they have that awesome straight line speed

When will the rules and regs be up for this, as it is tomorrow?

Perfect. Thanks. I was worried Slim might overtake me before turn 1, but there is a 1 second staggered start, so that's my chance. Just need to hold him off down the straights. Really looking forward to this now!

yes 1 second roll off's unfortunatly (yes i don't like them) but it helps with there not being a complete pile up at turn 1 in any race so that's good

Re: Regulation Clarification

So......Nick is qualified as 8th currently. That means he is in race lobby 1, correct? That having been said, I won't be competing against him in the same lobby for the LMP2 victory, but we will have to battle via total time. Am I missing something, the podcast was talking up the battle between Nick, Nicky, and myself, but really only Nicky and myself will be battling, Nick will just be in his own world keeping his nose clean on to a fairly easy victory. Clarification please! Thanks.

Whatever happens, and whatever lobby people are in, the total time and laps completed will be of greater importance than finishing position in the actual lobby of course.
It almost pays to get your head down and just get the laps in rather than fight with someone throughout the race and slow yourselves down.

I understand that, but it is way more fun to race head to head with someone. I am playing for fun. I could care less about winning. It just so happens, winning is also fun. Lol. It would be great to have the LMP2 cars in one room. I know it is what it is. Just something to think about. Thanks for the quick reply!

I assume all the GT1's will race together also. Should be a great race. Really looking forward to this. Should be a good test of concentration. A little dissappointed there are only 5 GT1 cars at the moment, but always fun raing with you boys.

before listening to the podcast, it looked like the GT1's and GT2's would've been able to fit in one lobby, which would've been very interesting, but i guess not if Magictap and jutoo8 decided to 'skip' qualy. i wonder if anyone from the rest of the GT1 class missed qualy...

A few notes for tonights big race.

- Normal LMS regulations apply.
- The race will be 2h 24m long. (You race to the end of the lap you are on when the timer is up.)
- In the event of a safety car period, the safety car does not need to wait until the Start finish line to restart the race. In addition to the Start finish line, safety cars may also use the following areas. There must be a 321 GO however.
