3:23.133 (dirty) is my best time so far. Should be able to get it around 3:22 clean with enough practice.

Champion will be starting testing with this jsut as soon as we get the P1 PI settings fixed, really trying to make this an even playing ground with us up at the front, if need be i'm sure TORA will do the same for the other classes so don't expect to hear any times from PI guys until tomorrow of so.

Not sure if I'll be allowed to run de-restricted in the GT-R yet, so here's a time using the current setup. Have to say, flat in 6th through the Porsche Curves is rather exhilerating, but I'm going to get absolutely creamed in the straights!! Cool

all i can say is i hope no1 shows up in a Zonda. i tested that thing out against my DBR9, cannot recall exact times at the moment, but the Zonda was 3 seconds faster than my AM (all the while the DBR9 was tuned back to use default downforce, and the zonda to use the same amount, which is higher than its default)

Switch, what times are you running in the DBR9? The Nissan didn't look like it was toooooo far off my C6.R ghost over the course of a lap (obviously waaay slower on the straights), but out of interest I tried it unrestricted, and whilst it's faster in the straights now (still 7mph slower than the DBR9), I think the overall lap times are too fast to allow us to run unrestricted.

honestly Aero, i cannot recall, as the morning of the Catalunya race, i was tuning for LeMans (i ended up using a max downforce version of it at Catalunya instead of one used at say, Suzuka), but i cannot recall my best lap thus far. but that unrestricted GT-R is MUCH faster, for sure! i think that 3:38 is reaching P2 times. the Unrestricted GT-R should be in a P2.5 class on its own. Razz

im more focused at the moment at a tune for the GT3 Vette for Road America

After a bit more testing last night, we found that we could balance the GTR with the Corvette in terms of laptimes, by setting two "groups" in the lobby setup, with the GTR in group 2 set with a 5% handling handicap set. This obviously needs a bit more testing, but could be a solution.

Got out in an RS Spyder, did 4 laps, mostly concentrating on handling characteristics at low downforce (205+ mph Smile) Only managed to do a 3:26, but that was with a few offs.

The thing I hate about the RS Spyder is the way the car feels with all of that dowforce. Taking it all off makes it feel soooo much nicer in the corners for me, I can really get stuck into the wheel, rather than moving the wheel a few degrees and spinning off.
