just out of curiosity, what times are you pulling with the C6R??

high 3:37's/low 3:38's is what i was running in the vette

oh and we were using a special lemans build on the vette. it came to 862.

we also tested the 860 vette against the GTR with it's restrictors on.

it is laughably slow...

what kinda times are you doing in the aston?

nobody's put anything in stone. we're just sharing results.

at best, the only consensus that we've come to is that every car is going to need to be looked at in reference to one another.

well, earlier tonight, i took my DBR9 out again to try 'er out again, and managed a low 3:42. when i was testing the vette alongside it, i got the vette and the DBR9 within 1 tenth of each other. if your hitting a 38 in the vette, i sure as (explitive) hope my tune isnt slowing it down. scratch

i ran my leaderboard time in a stock tuned vette with the gears widened out a little bit.

i was getting into 38's with the vette at 860, but had penalty.

3:40.521 in my first lap of lemans in the untuned DBR9 @ 848

that was with a big off through the porsche curves, and some serious curb hopping through the 2nd chicane on the mulsanne.

General - You seem to be fast around here. Can you please test the GTR unrestricted to see if it matches the 3:38's you are doing in the Aston and Vette?

i'm interested to see what you can pull with the GTR unrestricted.

aero and i were only hundreths off the pace of each other with him in the gtr and me in the vette.

i like this track, you can find alot of time around it...consequently you can lose alot of time around it.

I don't even know the track. I will try to learn it soon, so I can help out with testing. Looks like a very long lap. Should be fun. On a side note, I don't know the Nordschleife either. I need to start learning the longer tracks before the big events.

Re: Timing Board

another thing we agreed upon was that the GTR with the restrictors on was garbage around lemans.

one idea i kicked around is maybe put the restrictors back on the cars and see what happens...maybe reign them in on the straights a little bit more, and maybe the GTR can make it up through the corners.

it will be fun racing in GT1 again. i look forward to it. i raced in GT1 last season and it was very close racing.

All of this unrestricted, restricted talk is a little confusing. Is my porsche going to be affected, or is it running as is for sure? Thanks!
