I've gotten to 4:03.8 with the Extreme Speed F430GT but consistant laps are in the 4:05-07 range.

I'm not getting a clean time, the final chicane is doing my head in.

because the circuit is so massive it is quite hard to get a clean lap in so you're not the only one there Garage

it is possible. its just frustrating to have Turn10 make the "uncertifying boundaries" in the worst spots, especially in the shicanes. get the right/left side tires to TOUCH the inside rumble strip in the shicanes, and you get uncertified. Cut the Ford Shicanes similar to how they do it in the 24hr, and you get uncertified. Turn10 failed i think with this penalty system

--Driver Accomplishments--
2009: GTC - 3rd; LMS-GT1 - 2nd
2010: GT3 - 2nd; LMS-GT1 - 2nd; GT4 - Champion; TASCAR - Champion
2011: Winter GT - 3rd; ISCC-GT2 - 3rd (7th overall); TASCAR 2011 - 2nd
2012: GT season8 - Currently 6th; NATCC - currently 1st; ISCC-GT - Currently 4th; TASCAR 2012 - Starts July 2012

Switch, this system is ruining it for me, If our qualifying times are to be set on CLEAN times, I'm going to be penalised about 10 seconds minimum let alone the 5 seconds from another race for a penalty I wasnt involved in, I may not enter.

Now that I think about it... If we were forced to run clean times only, the times might be slightly more realistic Razz

Garage your time counts ifs its dirty or clean, just if you get a clean time we would not be able to take your dirty time as the screen will show the clean lap as the quickest.

So advise I always give is on your out lap make it dirty

Aside from the lack of clean times I dont think I can practice anymore...

I know where I'm going to make mistakes, and its in the chicanes because the car doesn't like slow.
Arnage is a pain in the bum in the lower gears.
If I'm concentrating the Porsche Curves arent that difficult.
I'm getting 180mph on the straights, but I dont know what time I'm doing because they arent clean.

for gods sake garage dont worry about them being clean because they wont ever be! if you get a clean lap it'll be incredably slow because like switch said if you even put a millimeter or your tires on the curbs you get a penalty so pound the curbs and give it your all and eff the curbs!

For those of us in the Nissan, it would be very helpful if some of the other GT1 entrants would post some rough comparative lap times so that we can more accurately guage what power handicap to put on the unrestricted version (if any).

I'm running inconsistant times at the moment, but somewhere between 3:33 (fluke) and 3:35s.

Use as much of the track that isn't grass and see what time you do, then worry about clean times Razz

Do you not find it off-putting that no matter how well you do a particular turn, a thing comes up saying you're doing it wrong? even when you're doing it right.
