Well be boring if we had just the series champions in the event.

SelectiveRogue
WWR Aero
WWR Chillz
DMR SWITCH

Slider S15

They are pretty much all the series champions this year, so good race with just 5 drivers as chilllz is gone

i just think just having the champions and ex champions is a crap idea, what about us racers that where very fast but just couldnt win a championship this season. thatz why i think the best drivers should race not the "champions". the way it was done last year was 50/50 really.

I have a feeling Chaddy thinks he was the best driver this year.

Surely if you win the championship and become the champion you are better than the other racers no?

To be fair, it will still be 50/50, maybe even less for the champions side.

The real RoC has a number of driver in it who haven't won championships, or been close.

have you only just realised that about Chad Wink (only joking Chad by the way)

And exactly RoC is just a bit of fun putting various drivers up against eachother in numerous cars for a bit of fun which is what we need these days Very Happy

that just makes no sense and is actually contradicting yourself. How can the best drivers not be able to win a championship.....im sorry to say but Im getting fed up again here

it the same old same old. for a long time people have been expressing their dissatisfaction that people could qualify and compete in an ROC event by just turning up to more events and accumulating points...the funniest part to me is some of those people have forgotten their own frustrations and point of views

TORA has already stopped listening. You may as well ask AJ back and give him a promotion.

Sorry DAN. But Im outa here for good. logging off and never coming back. Just far to slow to sort things out

im sorry, but OM produced a website and forum and a new updated version of first website then a second edition with twitter feeds (copied here) and other features then folded because we couldn't be arsed any more whilst still having more racers than currently turning up here!!!

Bye bye. Good luck.,. learn to listen because without a community its just mates racing together.

Magictap, there's no point stamping your feet and throwing a tantrum over something like this.

It's this simple. When TORA's administration changed a few months ago, we had a hell of a lot of work to do to get things back on track. Some things suffered while we rebuilt, and behind the scenes we have been doing a massive amount of work. One of the things we threw on the scrapheap was the ROC, because of the admin involved in running it and the fact there was debate over how it as worked out.

We had a meeting on Monday where Jamie asked for the responsibility of running a revitalised ROC. It is still very much a work in progress, because what we had before is in the bin.

As for not listening to the community, you are very much mistaken. We may have been concentrating heavily on our rebuild, and getting everything ready for next year, but we are still very much aware of our members and their wishes.

Now, there's room for discussion and criticism, but in the end you will all have to wait for Jamie to come up with the new format and then present it before you can have a go at TORA this and TORA that, so everyone please put your toys back in your prams and give the man time.

What? Magic that makes absolutely no sense. I never said once that the best drivers can't win or shouldn't be able to win. All I was saying to Chaddy was that in my view the best driver of a series is the person who is the champion of it. Am I wrong? There may be many good drivers in a series but the best one is the champion. Isn't that the point?

I dunno what you think we aren't listening to, the real RoC doesn't consist of just Champions. It has racers in it who haven't won a championship or came close. If we have a real TORA RoC that had 5 drivers in it, it would last 15 mins. The idea of the RoC is its a fun event at the end of the year where drivers compete against each other 1v1 to see who's best. It's not really about champions and never really has been in real life so why should it only consist of the 5 champions that are here?

In football, the Champions League doesn't consist solely of championship-winning football teams. Fourth place does not a champion make, but there's no denying some fourth place teams deserve to be there as the cream of what is on offer in Europe.

It's a name, a brand, and it works.

im not saying im the best what im saying is that ive tryed damn hard this season to improve and get into lobby A more as have others. i just dont want to miss on this after doing it last year and having a great season. plus if we do it with the good drivers who didnt win championships, there will be more of a turnout than just running champions, which scot put very well.
