1 Place Left: SBR 800K Challenge II - THIS SATURDAY!!

Yes ladies and Gentlemen, the SBR 800K Challenge is back on Saturday 20th March 2010.

Just as before were challenging a group of TORA members to break the 100,000 drift points achievement in one lap of Fujimi Kaido to create an 800,000 Point Lobby!

If we get enough people a second lobby will be run aswell and we'll go for 1,600,000 Point Lobby!

Although there will of course be some competition between the drivers this event is a TEAM event, with everybody working towards one common goal.

We will also be using a Seeding system within the Event, In the event of two Lobbys being needed it will be a split of people who havent competed before and the seeded entries who have. Seeded Entrys will get priority on car choice compared to non-seeded entries, in the event of 2 seeded entries wanting the same car the higher seed gets priority.

The new Number box is available now. For the first time in an SBR event a Sun Strip will also be available, however this is only to be worn by cars which have an actual sunstrip (like the Top Secret S15 ect) and is not to be painted on anybodys roof! (we sreiously hate that at SBR lol) This will also be available with the number box.

Rules:

Cars:

RWD is prefered
AWD is accepted under discression of SBR Staff,
FWD is STRICTLY PROHIBITED!
No FWD cars which have been converted to RWD,
AWD cars which have been converted to RWD are ok,
Only one of each car is to be unsed within the Whole Tournament, if two people wish to use the same car it will be decided by the SBR Staff who has to change.
ANY Class Very Happy

Track:
Fujimi Kaido Full

Collisions:

Off

If you wish to take part Post in here and request an invite to the Facebook Event page (if possible) here: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=304406168467

why aren't you allowing FWD cars to be converted to RWD

im assuming because the majority of them are hatchbacks that are way too easy to drift, that and it just doesnt look right, but, im not Slider

nightriders right, its because the majority of the converted FWD's are practically uncontrollable and just flail around, you launch it and try and point it down the mountain and it drifts itself with its inherant instability.

I've only found 1 car which isnt like that but theres no point allowing one and banning everything else so blanket ban it is.

Also, although this is not an official TORA event we are trying to run it in that style and felt that the FWD converted cars would not fit in with the feel of the event and the 4wd, although not a purists choice, is needed to allow accessability to the community. (although i really didnt think we'd get an RS200 lol)

i hope this helps
