SBR to sign new driver?

Tonight a leaked email has revealed that SBR is currently trying to sign a new driver in current privateer XTI Avenger.

Sam had this to say when interviewed,

'Yes it is true that I've offered XTI Avenger a place on the team, providing that all of the paperwork is approved by the officials. Avenger is well known in the community for giving solid performances, and I hope to get the opportunity to race with him.
Avenger will hopefully be racing in the LMS with me in the P2 class Acura ARX 01-b, which is a fairly good all rounder. It will remain to been seen what happens in the future, but hopes are high that Avenger will be allowed to join, I know from experience how daunting it can be as a privateer amongst a field of teams, and can benefit both of us in the long run.'

Hope you can pull it off mate! The only downside to racing with M&M is that i cant race with you or represent the team (except for the SBR Decal on the side of the car )

You had told us, (and announced without telling us!) that you were leaving our LMP squad due to time constraints and the TORA would not let us release you from your contract until we found a replacement.

We are actively searching for that replacement so that we can release you from your contract as you wanted.

I know, but you still told the world before telling us and as far as were concerned youve already left as you said you had over a month ago, we honestly didnt think you'd be upset about being replaced after having left the team by your own accord.

As Slider said Chad, you did say that you wouldn't be able to race in the LMS with me due to work, which is fair enough, I appreciate that.

But I do feel that you've taken this the wrong way, this isn't a case of 'sod off Chad, I've got someone else in' you're still welcome to stay with the team if you like, but Avenger will remain the other main driver because he can commit and should be able to make more of the events.
