More Nurburgring News for M&M

[AudiSport Louis]

Porsche Motorsport has teamed up with M&M Racing and have entrusted the team with the very stunning Hybrid's for the 24 Runden of the Nurburgring. "It's quite an amazing car." sais AudiSport Louis who is on loan to drive the car from Audi. "The performance is there, and god does it give you a kick in the arse when you pull the paddle to engage the electric motors."

The Porsche 911 GT3R Hybrid utalizes K.E.R.S. and stores the energy in an electric storage flywheel that spins at 40,000 RPM. At the pull of the lever to engage the system it releases power to the two elctric motors mounted on the front wheels to give a 180HP boost for a maximum of 4 seconds at a time. When asked about the system Louis said, "It's deffinatly helpful in traffic that's for sure so hopefully we're able to be there at the end and give this amazing car a good show."

Joining AudiSport Louis in the Hybrid is none other than XTI Nightrider, who was not available for comment at the time of this press release. Louis had this to say about his teammate to be "Nightrider is a great driver and I personally think he's a bit under rated, he know how to hustle a car and knows how to keep the nose clean." When asked if there is anyone else joining the team he said "Ummm, not at the moment that we know of, obviously there a lot of offers going out there for different cars and different teams, but anyone that's wanting to give the car a test we're more than welcome to give them a shot!"

M&M Racing with Porsche Motorsport will be racing in the 24 Runden of the Nurburgring, the last race of 2010 for TORA.

This program is to run along side M&M's regular Nururgring Program and the Hybrid side of things will be run by myself
