Re: 2011 Spotter Guides

Chris wrote:Notice to all potential competitors.

All series applications are provisionally accepted pending receipt of your car design so that it can be added to the Spotter Guide and Team Profile section of the website (under construction - nearing completion!). Please either send these to WWR Aero via in-game gift, or place them on your storefront for 0Cr so that I can pick it up from there. If you have used locked logo vinyls, please send or post a version with those removed, and send me a message or chat to me online to let me know what is missing and from where, and I will re-place those missing vinyls. If I have unlocked versions I will send them to you.

Number boxes, window banners and PLOW logos have all been sent. They should be self explanatory as I have labelled what goes where. Just load the vinyl in "Create Vinyl Logo" (I forget the exact name), ungroup the logos and save off the ones you need. If you don't have one and need it, please let me know. I will be online most nights if you need help to talk you through it.

Your help, as always, is much appreciated.

Regards

Chris

Dan is right

ATR DAN wrote:I'm sorry guys but this is really stupid! I'm ending it right here by saying I'm not going to put PLOW on my car! Thats it! End of! And it won't be my problem either. It'll be yours by throwing someone out of a series by them not running with a logo they are not comfortable with. Less numbers turning up! I wonder why???
I realize this is way out of date, but I'm not sure if the issue was ever resolved. It is as you say; a sponsorship, which are never required in real life, they are simply contracts. That is, if you want to depict realism... think of Tom Petty and Rusty Wallace. They made a personal investment without dealing without contracts after being with NASCAR for so long. Last I checked, only had their own name on their cars- in short, thats just cutting out the "sponsorship prize money". So whats the BFD?

I've been a Tom Petty fan a helluva long time... never knew he raced. Did the rest of The Heartbreakers?
