I've just done a 1.50.418 in an overly powered Nissan, i had to drive the tyres off of that thing to get that time as well!

Catalunya might have a couple of long straights, but you make up way more time by being fast through the corners there.

i understand that Chris, but seeing as i only had that build/tune thus far, i may need a higher power one for tracks like Road Atl & Sebring

The Aston has some legs on the straights, after seeing what EZT Ash was able to run, I got the Ford GT down into the 22's around Road Atlanta. I think I have a pretty strong car for the whole championship and am looking forward to the first race at Catalunya.

I don't think with the tune i've got i can do low 49's, i've got good straight line speed and it's pretty decent in the medium speed corners but in the long corners i'm practically drifting haha

Meeting 1 sounds like it'd b one hell of a race. My personal best now is a dirty 1:50.19x, but I'm sure I can nail a clean lap with more practice. (ran a tad wide coming out of turn 5 on that lap)

1:50:315 so far is my best in the Ford GT, its so consistant its not even funny. Can see it in the 49's with a little more tuning. santa

Just saw this. I am in the mid 49's but still have a lot of work to do. With some luck with the gearing I may be able to get some more out of it.
