ATR News Update - 24th September 2011

Hello one and all and welcome to a very quick news update from the ATR team.

There's no doubt that the atmosphere within the team is still electric after the organisations first ever win in a sports car championship. But only yesterday morning, it was time for the team to start loading their cargo onto the plane for the next round at Sebring this Sunday. The team are not feeling so confident for this round, particulary for team boss DAN 2605 recieving a 5% power handicap after his win last time out. JohnnyBoy3600 also recieves a handicap but is unable to make the meeting due to other commitments. Ben will no doubt show another promising performance after his impressive debut for ATR at Sunset Peninsula.

After Sebring, it'll be time for the team to quickly prepare for the next touring car event at Sunset Peninsula. There has been no comfirmation as of yet whether ATR's Honda Civic will be penalised with some sort of handicap to slow their cars right down. Despite this, the group has brought some good news in the form of a new 3rd driver for the rest of the season. Sadly because of the time difference, Connor has not been able to take part in any of the races so far this season. However, the team would like to welcome onboard "silentalarm42" from Phenomenal Racers. DAN expresses that he has no joy drafting in silentalarm42 from Nickyf1's team and wishes the Scotsman all the best in trying to back to racing very soon after his recent steering wheel failiure. However, he is very much looking forward to working with silentalarm42 for the rest of the season.

I just hope I do just that! Dan, can you quickly hold a test session tomorrow afternoon?

Will do. I'll host it one hour before the race. That'll be the best time to practice to get into some sort of rhythm for the race.
