TORA is attending London Gaming Con 3rd-4th December 2011.

TORA will be attending this years London Gaming Con at the Rocket Complex over the weekend of the 3rd-4th of December 2011.

London Gaming Con will be TORA's first public event and to celebrate we will be holding a weekend long tournament at LGC using Forza Motorsport 4 for the Xbox 360. With the inclusion of the Top Gear Test Track in the new game, TORA will be running a Top Gear style Lap Times constest using a race rig and steering wheel. At the end of the weekend, the top three drivers will earn prizes. Third place will recieve 1200 MS points, 2nd place will recieve 2100 MS points and the top prize will be a copy of Forza Motorsport 4 on the Xbox 360. We will also have a table set up including information on how to get involved with TORA.

Entry for both days is only £14 and you can visit the LGC website to register and find out more. You must be over the age of 18 by 3rd December to attend and Photo ID for proof of age is required.

Just registered. Will pop in to see you chaps there, who will be there and when on the stand? I have a professional bike fitting at 2pm in Kensington which will take about 2 to 3 hours, so plan on me and my g/f popping in before hand and if any good afterwards to, maybe even Sunday!

Anyone else going as a pundit?

p.s. what Top Gear layout and car do I need to practice!! lol

It'll be good to see you Matt, myself, Ian, Duncan, Simon and Maybe Chris will be there. I'm not sure on the specifics but We'll be taking turns throughout the day at being on the stand. I think Ian and myself will be the only people there on the Sunday though

Actually, I might get into a lobby with you at some point in the next few days and we can do some runs around the track. I can then record that with teh stig helmet an dplay it on the laptop we will have set up showing otehr TORA videos.

While I work 95% of all Sunday's per year, I will not be visiting the other day. And for one very good reason, the train prices will put me off in December.

Along with that, I finish late on Friday's. So on the whole, I will not be visiting this year.

Its nearly time for London Gaming Con! We're all packed up and (nearly) ready to go. We have some exciting news to announce over the weekend and we hope that we'll either see some of you down there or we can get some new members to join!

I just wanted to update this and say that we had a fantastic weekend down in London and that we had such good feedback. We even managed to get a member or two

After a hasty setup in the morning - and many thanks to Magictap for turning up and being practically our lackie whilst setting up and being mistaken for some random guy - we had a long day of exhibiting. We ended up being on the stand until around 10.30pm as people just kept wanting to get involved with our challenge and play some Forza

We were then down manned for day two and packed up relatively early, not all by our own choice, and finished off our trip to London.

There will be some more pics to come and a full write up of the weekend, with some possible announcements to go with it. Hopefully we will be doing this again in the very near future and we hope to see you guys there, maybe if we are a bit further North

Hey dude, that's awesome. You were the fastest of the weekend so I had to get int ouch with the organizers of teh event for details. I was still waiting on getting the details from them, so I'll send you a PM to sort out postage. Well done!

We tried to get the wheel as solid as possible and ended up ducktaping the wheel to the rig. We'll be working on it for the next time. Glad you had fun!
