Introduce yourself to TORA

Post by Richy59 on Mon Oct 24, 2011 5:53 am

Hello and welcome to TORA - The Online Racing Association.

As with any forum, the first hurdle to get over is getting to know the community that has grown up around a shared passion for motorsport and video games.

Just so we can get to know you better, we ask that you fill in some simple details to get your TORA career started. Don't worry, it's nothing too personal, but it gives us and the community an idea of who you are and what your interests are. Just copy these details and make a new forum topic in this section to intorduce yourself to the TORA community.

Gamertag - Your Xbox Live gamertag.
Age - I know, it's rude to ask...
Country - Where you live.
Experience - What racing experience do you have, both real and virtual?
Interests - Any hobbies or interests that you would like to share?
Expectations - What TORA series are you looking to take part in?
How did you hear about TORA? - Did you find us via FM.net, another club, Facebook or simply by searching?

We also ask that all new members carry out a speed test of their internet provider. This is mainly so we can gain a good understanding of what types of connections people have within TORA. You can carry out a speed test on www.speedtest.net and simply copy and paste the forum code at the end of the test.

Can you please also have a read through the handy guide on Xbox Live Connectivity to make sure you achieve the optimal connection settings to reduce the chances of lag or connection problems with other racers.

I hope you enjoy your stay at TORA and I look forward to seeing you on the track!
