I couldn't get in the qual lobby. Haven't had any connection issues in a really long time. Would have liked to have challenge for the pole. Maybe if that happens to someone again they could get invited to another qual lobby. No worries anyway since its just practice. Good racing with everyone and I was impressed on how well the GT guys did letting the LMP cars pass.

Some lovely looking iscc cars there, and that crash is pretty impressive, I did something similar at sunset in the iscc race there! Cannot wait to get the "Acurarri" out for the next race a tsukaba!

Normally we would do such a proceedure but the other lobbies had already started and we were waiting, from now on how ever this will not be an issue and we will make sure everyone is connected before anyone starts.

Re: TORA ISCC Asia Round 1 Suzuka November 19th
WOW! What a race that was last night. It was really tense between myself and F4H Bullet. That race was defernately on a par with Sebring 2009 with myself and Mark.
I don't know if anyone else had tyre issues, but I really hated the second set of tyres after the first pit-stop. The front end was really pointy and the rear was a little unstable. I lost the lead just a lap before my second stop and once I switched to the third set of rubber, that was it. It was literally pedal to the metal and I was trying to produce quali laps, even on the first lap out of the pits I was pushing. And it worked cause I was about 1,000ft infront of Bullet after he made his last pitstop.
I was really gutted that Bullet spun coming out of 130R with 10 minutes to go because I was just loving the battle between us. When I crossed the line, I was aching that much trying to keep him behind, I was ready to burst out and yell because it was a huge relief.
I just hope the rest of this championship is this good because that was a great way to open the season.
WAAHOOOOO!!

Re: TORA ISCC Asia Round 1 Suzuka November 19th
My race was ruined at the start, I felt my car was better on cold tyres but as soon as we got to turn 2 that plan was ruined. I was pretty chuffed to get behind Ian before the 1st stop and pitted with him. Then it went down hill again making stupid mistakes which led to me being caught by Richy. We had a good battle switching postions a few times. Took our 2nd stops a lap apart and still nose to tail, till i made another mistake which saw him pass. I caught him up again and on the very last lap his car went off at turn 2 and handed me 2nd, yet i felt i was still going to be very close to getting him. Great battle mate.

It wasn't as bad as mine. Contact in the first corner sent me out of any chance of having something close to a battle. Pitted at the end of lap 1 and tried to go till the last lap to make my 2nd stop until i dropped it at 130R. Pitted on that lap only to find my car had 100% side and rear bumper damage. Car had no rear grip meaning i was drifting through nearly every corner. Finished last and several laps down on the next GT car. Thankfully Tsukuba is so short that you're always near another car so hopefully something entertaining happens to me. If it doesnt i'll probably not do endurance racing after Motegi.

Yeah, it doesn't help being taken out at the first corner and then having nobody to race against but yourself. Especially during these long races, you end up losing concentration and making mistakes. It's happened to me in the past and with these longer races it really adds to the disappointment/boredom of trundling around at the back.
