This is alongside the best racing documentaries I have seen. It captured what motorsport is all about, the spectacle of Le Mans, passion, determination, skill, courage and above all the relationship that everyone in the team has with each other as friends and colleagues. Great to see.

Also I forgot who won the 2008 race so it was a nice refresher! I remember wanting Villeneuve to win so he could complete his hat-trick... but I'd rather someone British do it instead Very Happy

This was probably the modern documentary that kicked off the interest in such films.
Since then we've had Senna, Closer to the Edge and the awesome BMW one about the N24 among others. Gotta love their ability to show the passion and spectacle of our sport.
Can't imagine a documentary about contemporary F1 being as good Razz

Straight after watching this I thought about the official F1 reviews. The mini interviews they do on there with drivers/team bosses really does not interest me in the slightest. I can imagine an F1 equivalent of Truth being like that - I can't see a proper documentary on F1 being made unless there's been a REALLY good season. Senna's one was great because it showcased his genius and told a story.

2002 review must be dull, haha
