Hello everyone! Happy New Year and welcome to the first ATR newsletter of 2012.

After a delightful christmas break for everyone involved in the team, it was time to open the factory in Devon once again to prepare for the first round of the 2012 GT Championship at Indianapolis this Sunday. To mark the occassion of travelling to the world famous circuit, the team has decided to create a livery in tribute of Dan Wheldon's finest achievement of winning the 2011 Indy 500. The teams new sponsor, William Rast, was all too delighted to collaberate with ATR in this special project just for the first race of the GT's.
The lineup hasn't changed apart from Conner deciding to enter as a privateer in his Mercedes SLS. However, ATR are all too delighted to help out the american with providing the machine and the mechanics to help with the set-ups in every meeting that he participates in. Also, fellow american Zach Casto (BuckeyeBullet20) has asked for help with providing a McLaren MP4-12C for the championship.

I spent quite a lot of time planning how I was gonna create the livery. Knowing how you knew Dan personally, I was hoping you would like it.

it is awsome, i went online last night and bought me a Lionheart logo to put on my ISCC car. don't know if you would want to put in on there as its 301 layers but this livery looks awsome enough i dont think it really needs it.

That would be an awesome idea Louis. I'll check the storefront right away for the Lionheart vinyl. I've still got plenty of space left to place it on.

Edit: I've purchased the Lionheart vinyl and placed it on both sides of the car (just above the ATR logo).
