TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - Qualifying Procedure
As with all previous endurance events the qualifying for the 12 Hours of Sebring will take place throughout the week before the event. We start off this years qualifying on Monday the 19th of Mach.
Each qualifying session will be broken down into 45 Minute sessions where everyone will take to the track.
Each driver only need to compete in one session through the week. A team fielding more than one driver must have at least one of their drivers complete a qualifying session. The team qualifies as a whole, so the fastest lap from the team will determine their position on the grid i.e. Driver 3 may set a faster time than Driver 1, so Driver 3's time is taken as the fastest time.
All drivers may compete in any qualifying session, but you MUST announce which session you are using to record your fastest time. Drivers will be allowed to use the sessions as a practice session as well, but any driver on a hot lap must be given priority and if a driver who is on a hot lap and is blocked then action may be taken on the offending driver. If you set a fast time when you are practicing you will still have to qualify in the session you signed up to do your timed run in.
Please see the following table for when qualifying session will be run. If anyone who cannot make these sessions due to time zone constraints pleas let us know and we will look at adjusting one of the seesion to suit, or adding more.
Session 1 - Monday 19th March - 8pm GMT
Session 2 - Wednesday 21st March - 10pm GMT
Session 3 - Thursday 22nd March - 8pm GMT
Session 4 - Friday 23rd March - 10pm GMT
Please use the following teplate to sign up to qualifying.

If a team does not qualify but are signed up to race they will start at the back of the field, no matter what class they are in. Like our previous N24 they must effectively start from the 'pit lane' where anyone who did not qualify must make a pit stop at the end of the warm up lap whilst the remainder fo the field continues with their rolling start. This will give you a major time disadvantage.
