TORA Research

Post by Matt on Mon Feb 13, 2012 1:09 pm

Hi all,

TORA provides our community and racers with the best media exposure and promotion of any sim racing community on any console. But what if we could offer you more?
What if TORA had a merchandising range so you could show off your racing club or series?
If TORA could produce a merchandising range what would you like to see in it? Hats? Shirts? Umbrellas?
When considering your answer please bear in mind copyright rules and that we don't obviously own the rights to many of the logos displayed on the participating cars in our race series Wink

Stickers, for the car or the car window. I like the idea you said once before with a tora t shirt with the racing number on the back

A partnership with someone like the T-Shirt competition would be cool. I have the one on the left but have always felt if they offered Moonpig style customisation on the back, as the back is blank, it would be the finished product.

Basically, if you could add TORA and the TORA url to the back, plus our GamerTag and our TORA race number, then the 'faster than you' slogan on the T-Shirt would be a proper challenge!!

I think the gamertag and number on the back on a Tora T-Shirt is a really good idea!

We could have our own slogan on it like 'Racings Electric!' etc etc

I don't think gamertag and number would be cost effective. It seems that each shirt would have to be screen printed individually.... driving up costs. Just a thought.

I think I would wear a shirt.. for GP meetings or casual wear with my TORA number and gamertag/actual name with flag. TORA red and black, like the ones you guys already have (Rich and Ian, Aero?)

Second most successful thing would be to have car stickers. Cheap and easy. Another thing you might find useful is if you want graphics/vinyls done, my uncle owns a family owned company in London called Aspect Signs.

I think if we came up with a design that gave space for personalisation that would probably work out best as economies of scale need to be considered in terms of production.
I have also taken on board the idea of vinyls and car stickers.

Anyone interested in things like hoodies, mugs, umbrellas?
