GT500 - Honda NSX, Lexus SC430, Nissan Nismo GTR, Hyundai Forza motorsport Super GT cars with 5% power handicap and the audi and merc DTM cars with 0 handicap.

All the Japanese tracks (including tsukuba) plus a euro and US round.

they seem to be a bit faster than the DTM cars as far as power. they are near 500 and the dtm cars around around 470..it just evens it up a little bit.

oh yes. 1 lap qualifying too.

and a 3 hour enduro special around suzuka GP

I'd certainly like to be a #2 Driver to a GT500 runner just so I can get some competitive track time in those cars...

anyday, one option would be to run at around 6 pm GMT on saturdays that are free in the coming months...that'd be around noon US time. but it's on a saturday so a lot of people are off work and could make it.

super GT is really widely laid out... maybe we should start with just one event at like motegi or suzuka thats a one hour race and see how it goes.

GT300 I think could be really competitive, because people have the cars already built and tuned. so they just show up.

the GT500 cars we already drove against each other in the Formula 500 series. so we got already know that those cars are pretty close as well.

Possible Schedule

Motegi
Nurburgring Short
Tsukuba
Hockenheim National (Not the GP Course and not the Club layout)
Suzuka
Sunset Peninsula Reverse

All races either 100kms or 1 Hour, except for Suzuka - 500kms or 3 Hours...

SuperGT 500 cars vs the new TORA GT3-ish cars as the GT300 class?

"GT500" Class:

Bucket 1 = DTM Cars from 2007 onwards, No upgrades, but tuning allowed.
Basically the Audi and the Merc

Bucket 2 = Super GT 500 cars from 2007 Onwards, No Upgrades, but tuning allowed.
Nissan, Lexus, Hyundai (yes i know it isnt real) and the Honda NSX on a waiver, these cars will have a 5% power handicap to put them on par with the DTM bucket

"GT300" Class:

Bucket 3 = The Current 15% Power Handicapped GT2 cars from the "World GT" Regs

Bucket 4 = The remaining GT3 cars from the "World GT"s (Z4, Viper, Merc, and maybe Porsche)

tbh, when we upgraded the DTM cars with full width tyres they were just as competitive as the standard SuperGT cars, so not sure if they need to be handicaped in Bucket 2. I think the DTM cars need the full width tyres to be able to stand a chance.

Or we just forget about the DTM cars.

I'd rather not include the DTM cars.

Honda vs Toyota/Lexus vs Nissan.

Nice and simple.

We only included the DTM cars because of the future plans to have the same regs in GT500 and in DTM... If we go without the DTM that then makes room for the Corvette and "Asstohhn Marrtehn" in GT300/"World GT" Class...

ok. forget about the DTM cars, add the aston and the corvette.

if we could test some of these later today when people are on for the GT race, that would be stupendous
